Hillcroft’s ABA Clinic was established in 2010 to provide behavior modification therapy for children and young adults diagnosed with Autism and related disorders. The ABA Clinic uses a combined approach of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) to provide hands-on personalized instruction.
The ABA Clinic provides intensive one-on-one therapy, individualized academic instruction, social skills training, play and group instruction for children starting at the age of two. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops an individualized treatment plan for each child receiving services through the clinic. From the results of the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and other assessments, behaviorally-based language intervention programs are developed for each child based on their individual needs.
Registered Behavior Technicians give academic instruction and collaborate with public school teachers in serving the needs of our clients who are placed at the clinic through the school systems. While most of the therapy takes place within the clinic setting, the ABA Clinic also offers bi-weekly in home training. In-home training is a chance for parents to ask questions and see how the therapy can transfer to the home environment.
