Hillcroft’s LeAnne Cole, VP of Therapy Services, wrote a grant to Rotary for the Creativity Unlimited Program to purchase supplies for their artwork. Hillcroft was awarded $600.00 to purchase the supplies! Creativity Unlimited (CU) programming is based upon the specific needs and interests of the participants. Instruction areas include life skill development, driver’s education, computer usage, educational developmental, social relationships, community access activities, mobility instruction, recreation and self-advocacy.
In addition to the grant money, Rotary has decided to work with six non-profits this year. Rotarians will focus on volunteering and possibly donating to one or all of the non-profits. The other participating non-profits are Little Red Door, Habitat for Humanity, Lifestream Services, Muncie Mission, and TEAMwork for Quality Living.
Thank you Rotary President Dale Basham for your leadership in feeding us with loaves and fishes. Hillcroft is very excited to work with Rotarians this coming year to provide “Service Above Self” in our community!
