Transportation Services

The goal of Reliable Transit is to provide door-to-door, safe, and reliable transportation services to individuals utilizing Medicaid Waiver. Our service enables Medicaid Waiver recipients to get to and from Hillcroft, work, or other locations identified in the PCISP in a safe and timely manner. Trips must originate in Delaware County.

In the event that you feel that you have been discriminated against in any manner, please follow the agency’s grievance process.

  • Prior to filing a Formal Grievance speak with your Transportation Coordinator or other members of your team to try to informally resolve any issues.
  • If the problem cannot be resolved with the Transportation Coordinator or other members of your team, contact should be made with program Vice President who will assist you in writing and submitting your formal grievance.
  • At least 3 of these program Vice Presidents will meet to discuss the grievance and determine a response and this response will be reported back to you within 3 business days. If you are unsatisfied with this response you can appeal to the CEO or her designee.
  • The CEO will respond to the complaint/grievance within 3 business days. The President/CEO’s reply is the agency’s final response.
  • You have the right to pursue your complaint outside the organization.

Scheduling Trips
All rides may be secured through a simple phone call to our office at (765) 587-5251. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm. Other hours of service may be available upon request.

Accommodations

  • Service animals and personal care attendants are permitted to accompany individuals with disabilities in vehicles and facilities.
  • Wheelchair accessible transportation is available. The rider must inform the scheduler of the need for wheelchair accessible transportation at the time of scheduling the ride.
  • Portable oxygen tanks are permitted on all vehicles. It will be the responsibility of the rider to ensure these are properly secured.
  • Riders 17 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Scheduling Trips:
All Medicaid funded, Non-Emergency Medical Transportation rides should be scheduled through Southeastrans at (317) 613-0820 or WellTrans at (317) 785-5500 from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm.  Please have your Medicaid number available when requesting a trip.
